We are seeking a Data Privacy Associate for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a privacy professional to support the delivery of effective data protection practices across a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will work with colleagues across the organisation to help ensure personal data is handled lawfully, fairly and transparently.

In this role, you will support the day-to-day management of privacy activities, including responding to data subject rights requests, maintaining records of processing activities and assisting with data protection impact assessments. You will help review and update privacy notices, policies, procedures and guidance, ensuring that documentation remains accurate and aligned with applicable legislation and regulatory expectations.

You will also assist with privacy reviews of new and existing products, services, processes and third-party arrangements. This will involve identifying potential risks, documenting recommendations and supporting stakeholders with practical advice on data protection requirements. The role may include helping to manage personal data breaches, maintaining privacy registers and contributing to internal reporting and compliance monitoring.

The successful candidate will have experience in a data protection, privacy, compliance or legal support role, with a sound understanding of UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and related privacy principles. Experience handling data subject rights requests, conducting privacy assessments or advising on information governance would be advantageous.

You will be organised, analytical and confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels. Strong written skills are essential, as is the ability to explain complex regulatory requirements clearly and pragmatically. You should be comfortable managing competing priorities, working independently and maintaining a high level of accuracy when handling confidential information.

This role offers the opportunity to broaden your privacy experience, contribute to meaningful compliance initiatives and work alongside experienced professionals. Applications are welcomed from candidates who can demonstrate sound judgement, discretion and a genuine interest in developing effective, proportionate data protection practices.
