We are seeking a Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to design, implement and maintain secure, reliable identity services across a complex technology environment. This is an opportunity to play a key role in strengthening access controls, improving user experience and supporting a mature information security function. The position can be performed on a hybrid or fully remote basis, subject to location and business requirements.

You will lead the engineering and administration of IAM platforms, including identity governance, privileged access management, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication and directory services. Responsibilities will include developing access models, managing joiner, mover and leaver processes, configuring role-based access controls, and integrating applications with central identity platforms using standards such as SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect.

The role will involve working closely with information security, infrastructure, applications, compliance and service teams to deliver secure solutions and resolve complex access issues. You will investigate incidents, support audit and regulatory requirements, maintain technical documentation, contribute to risk assessments and help establish effective monitoring and reporting. You will also identify opportunities to automate manual processes using scripting or infrastructure-as-code approaches, while promoting consistent engineering standards and continuous improvement.

Applicants should have substantial experience in an IAM engineering or security engineering role, with a strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorisation and least-privilege principles. Experience with cloud identity services, Active Directory or comparable directory technologies, privileged access tools and enterprise integration patterns is expected. Knowledge of security frameworks, access certification, automation and API-based integrations would be highly advantageous.

You will be a confident problem-solver who can communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a collaborative environment. Relevant professional certifications or equivalent practical experience are welcome.
