We are seeking an Associate/Senior Associate – Data & Cyber to support clients on a range of data, technology, privacy and cyber-related matters. The role will involve contributing to engagements that help organisations understand and manage technology risks, strengthen data governance, respond to regulatory requirements and improve their cyber resilience. You will work with experienced professionals and client stakeholders to analyse complex issues, develop practical recommendations and deliver high-quality outputs.

Key responsibilities will include supporting assessments of data protection, information security and cyber risk; reviewing policies, controls, processes and operating models; assisting with data governance and privacy programmes; and contributing to incident response, risk remediation and regulatory readiness activities. You may also be involved in conducting research, analysing data, preparing client reports and presentations, documenting findings, developing procedures and supporting the implementation of agreed improvements. Senior Associates will be expected to take greater ownership of workstreams, supervise junior team members, manage day-to-day client relationships and contribute to proposals and business development.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in data, cyber security, information risk, technology risk, privacy, digital transformation or a related field. Professional experience gained within consulting, professional services, financial services, technology or a regulated environment is desirable. A strong understanding of data protection principles, cyber risk frameworks, information security controls and relevant regulatory expectations will be advantageous. You should have excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to translate technical or regulatory concepts for varied audiences. The ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively and deliver to deadlines is essential. Relevant qualifications or certifications in areas such as cyber security, data protection, information security, audit, risk or technology will be valued.
