We are seeking an experienced IGA Lead Engineer to provide technical leadership across the design, implementation and ongoing improvement of identity governance and administration solutions. You will play a key role in strengthening access controls, supporting regulatory compliance and delivering secure, efficient identity lifecycle management across a complex technology environment.

You will lead the engineering and configuration of IGA platforms, including joiner, mover and leaver processes, access requests, approvals, provisioning, deprovisioning, role management and access certification. Working closely with security, infrastructure, application and compliance teams, you will translate business and control requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key responsibilities will include defining engineering standards, overseeing integrations with directories, applications and HR systems, developing workflows and policies, and providing technical guidance to engineers and project teams. You will investigate and resolve complex incidents, identify opportunities for automation, maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to continuous service improvement. You will also support platform upgrades, testing, release management and the adoption of strong operational and security practices.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in identity governance, access management or a closely related engineering discipline, together with hands-on expertise in an enterprise IGA platform such as SailPoint IdentityIQ, SailPoint IdentityNow, Saviynt or a comparable solution. You should be confident working with identity lifecycle processes, role-based access control, access reviews, provisioning technologies and application integration patterns.

Strong knowledge of directories and authentication technologies, such as Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, SAML and OAuth, is expected. Experience with scripting or development languages such as Java, PowerShell, Python or JavaScript, alongside familiarity with REST APIs, SQL and automation practices, would be advantageous.

You will be an effective communicator who can influence stakeholders, explain technical matters clearly and lead delivery in a collaborative environment. A structured approach to problem-solving, attention to detail and a strong understanding of security, risk and data protection principles are essential.
