We are seeking an experienced Network & Security Delivery Team Leader to lead the delivery, operation and continual improvement of robust network and cyber security services. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for coordinating technical teams, managing priorities and ensuring services are delivered securely, reliably and in line with agreed standards.

You will oversee the planning and delivery of network and security projects, including infrastructure upgrades, cloud connectivity, firewalls, secure remote access, monitoring, vulnerability remediation and incident response improvements. Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and technical specialists, you will manage delivery plans, dependencies, risks, budgets and performance against agreed service levels.

The role will also involve providing leadership and support to a team of network and security professionals. You will promote effective collaboration, develop technical capability and encourage a culture of continuous improvement. You will be expected to contribute to operational governance, maintain accurate documentation, support audits and ensure that security controls, policies and procedures are consistently applied.

Applicants should have substantial experience in network infrastructure and cyber security, together with a proven record of leading technical delivery teams or complex programmes. You will have strong knowledge of technologies such as routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, cloud networking, identity and access management, endpoint protection and security monitoring. Experience of incident, change and problem management within an IT service environment is essential.

Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills are required, along with the ability to translate technical risks and priorities for non-technical audiences. Relevant professional qualifications in networking, cyber security, service management or project delivery would be advantageous. You should be confident making decisions, managing competing demands and delivering outcomes in a fast-changing environment.
