Technical Lead - Cloud & Cyber Service

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Cloud & Cyber Service to provide technical leadership across cloud platforms, cybersecurity capabilities and enterprise technology services. You will be responsible for shaping secure, resilient and scalable solutions that support business priorities, while ensuring services are delivered in line with architecture, risk, compliance and operational standards. The role will work closely with technology teams, business stakeholders, suppliers and senior leaders to turn strategic objectives into practical technical outcomes.

Key responsibilities include leading the design, implementation and continuous improvement of cloud and cyber services; setting technical direction, standards and reusable patterns; and overseeing the delivery of secure infrastructure, identity, networks, monitoring, vulnerability management and incident response capabilities. You will assess emerging technologies, identify opportunities for automation and optimisation, and ensure that solutions are appropriately documented, tested and supportable. The role will also contribute to technology roadmaps, investment planning, risk assessments and governance forums, while providing technical assurance across projects and operational change. You will mentor engineers and specialists, promote knowledge sharing and encourage consistent use of modern engineering and security practices.

Applicants should have substantial experience in technical leadership across cloud, infrastructure or cybersecurity environments, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture, security controls, service management and operational resilience. Practical experience with major cloud platforms, identity and access management, networking, security monitoring, governance frameworks and automation tools is highly desirable. You will be confident communicating complex technical matters to both technical and non-technical audiences, influencing decisions and managing competing priorities. A collaborative, analytical and delivery-focused approach is essential, together with the ability to work effectively in a changing environment. Relevant professional certifications or equivalent experience in cloud, cybersecurity, architecture or service management would be advantageous.
