Cyber Project Manager (IT/OT)
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Project Manager (IT/OT) to lead the delivery of cybersecurity initiatives across information technology and operational technology environments. This role will be responsible for coordinating projects that strengthen cyber resilience, protect critical systems, and support compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will work with technical and business stakeholders to define objectives, establish delivery plans, manage dependencies, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to agreed quality standards.
Key responsibilities will include managing the full project lifecycle, from initial scoping and business case development through implementation, transition, and post-project review. You will coordinate internal teams, specialist suppliers, and operational stakeholders; maintain project plans, budgets, RAID logs, governance documentation, and progress reports; and provide clear updates to senior leadership. The role will involve projects such as network security improvements, vulnerability and risk remediation, identity and access management, security monitoring, incident readiness, asset visibility, segmentation, secure remote access, and the protection of industrial control systems. You will also help ensure that cybersecurity requirements are embedded into technology and engineering programmes from the outset.
The successful candidate will have proven experience delivering cybersecurity, technology, or infrastructure projects, ideally within complex or regulated environments. A sound understanding of both IT and OT risks, architectures, operational constraints, and change management principles is essential. You should be confident engaging with technical specialists and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex risks into clear actions, and managing competing priorities in a structured manner. Experience with recognised project management methodologies and frameworks, along with certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent, would be advantageous. Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills are required, together with a pragmatic approach to delivering secure, sustainable outcomes.
