We are seeking an experienced Cyber Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of cybersecurity initiatives across both information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) environments. You will manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring that scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards and security objectives are clearly defined and achieved. The role will involve working with technical specialists, business stakeholders, external partners and site-based teams to deliver practical improvements that strengthen the organisation’s cyber resilience without disrupting critical operations.

Your responsibilities will include developing project plans, maintaining risk and issue registers, coordinating resources, monitoring progress and providing clear reporting to senior stakeholders. You will support the implementation of cyber security controls, network and infrastructure enhancements, vulnerability management programmes, identity and access management, incident response improvements and compliance-related initiatives. A key part of the role will be managing dependencies between corporate IT systems and industrial control systems, while ensuring that operational safety, availability and business continuity remain central to all project decisions. You will also contribute to governance processes, procurement activities, supplier management, change control and post-project reviews.

Applicants should have proven experience managing cybersecurity, technology or infrastructure projects, ideally within environments involving manufacturing, utilities, engineering, energy or other critical operations. A strong understanding of IT and OT security principles, common cyber risks, regulatory expectations and recognised security frameworks is desirable. You will need excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills, together with the ability to translate complex technical matters into clear business outcomes. Experience with formal project management methodologies and relevant qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be proactive, commercially aware and comfortable balancing competing priorities in a complex, highly regulated environment.
