We are seeking a Privacy Operations Analyst to support the effective delivery of privacy processes across a complex, fast-paced organisation. This role will help ensure that personal data is handled responsibly, securely and in line with applicable data protection legislation, internal policies and agreed standards.

You will manage and coordinate privacy-related requests, including data subject access requests, deletion requests, rectification requests and other individual rights enquiries. Working closely with colleagues across legal, information security, technology, HR and business operations, you will gather relevant information, track progress, maintain accurate records and help ensure responses are complete, timely and appropriately documented.

The role will also involve maintaining privacy registers, processing records, action logs and evidence repositories. You will support the review of data protection impact assessments, supplier privacy documentation and data-sharing arrangements, escalating risks or complex issues where appropriate. In addition, you will help monitor compliance with retention requirements, contribute to privacy audits and reporting, and identify opportunities to improve procedures, controls and stakeholder guidance.

The successful candidate will have experience in privacy operations, data protection, compliance, risk management or a related field. You should have a practical understanding of UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the principles governing the use of personal data. Experience handling data subject rights requests, maintaining detailed case records and working with confidential information would be highly desirable.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. You will be confident communicating with stakeholders at different levels, able to explain privacy requirements clearly and comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team. Analytical thinking, sound judgement and a proactive approach to problem-solving will be important in this role.

This is an opportunity to develop your privacy expertise while helping to strengthen responsible data practices throughout the organisation.
