We are seeking a Privacy Analyst to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of privacy and data protection practices across the organisation. Working closely with legal, compliance, information security and operational teams, you will help ensure that personal data is handled lawfully, fairly and transparently throughout its lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a practical understanding of privacy regulations to contribute to a mature and evolving data governance environment.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining records of processing activities, supporting data protection impact assessments and assisting with the review of privacy notices, policies and internal procedures. You will monitor and assess privacy risks, help coordinate responses to data subject requests and personal data breaches, and provide guidance on data retention, sharing and minimisation. The role will also involve carrying out privacy reviews of projects, systems and third-party suppliers, tracking remediation actions and preparing clear reports for relevant stakeholders. You may contribute to privacy training and awareness initiatives, helping colleagues understand their responsibilities when collecting, using or disclosing personal information.

We are looking for experience in a privacy, data protection, compliance, risk or governance role, together with knowledge of UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and related regulatory principles. Experience of working with privacy impact assessments, records of processing, data subject rights or supplier due diligence would be advantageous. You should be confident interpreting requirements, identifying practical solutions and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. Relevant professional qualifications, such as CIPP/E, CIPM or an equivalent privacy or compliance certification, would be welcomed, although practical experience and a willingness to continue developing will also be valued.
