Chief of Staff, Cyber Security and Digital Identity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strategic and highly organised Chief of Staff to support senior leadership across Cyber Security and Digital Identity. This role will help translate strategic priorities into measurable activity, strengthen governance and oversight, and ensure that key programmes, decisions and risks receive appropriate attention.
Working closely with executive stakeholders, you will coordinate strategic planning, business performance, reporting and operational rhythms across a complex portfolio. You will prepare briefings, papers and presentations for senior forums, track actions and decisions, and provide clear analysis to support effective decision-making. The role will also involve managing priorities across multiple teams, identifying dependencies, challenging progress where necessary and ensuring that important commitments are delivered on time.
You will contribute to the development and implementation of cyber security and digital identity strategies, helping to align people, processes, technology and investment with organisational objectives. Responsibilities will include overseeing governance arrangements, supporting risk and issue management, coordinating assurance activity, and improving communication between technical, operational and corporate stakeholders. You may also lead or support strategic projects, reviews and change initiatives, ensuring that outcomes are clearly defined and benefits are realised.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience working in a chief of staff, strategy, transformation, programme management or senior business operations role, ideally within cyber security, digital identity, technology or a similarly complex environment. You will be confident operating at executive level, managing sensitive information and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, together with the ability to turn complex information into concise, compelling advice. You will be commercially aware, comfortable working with ambiguity and able to balance strategic thinking with detailed delivery. A proactive approach, sound judgement, political awareness and a commitment to collaboration are also required. Experience of cyber risk, identity management, information assurance or relevant regulatory environments would be highly advantageous.
