Consultant, Senior Consultant, Cyber Incident Response Advisory, Recovery and Resilience
We are seeking experienced professionals to join a cyber incident response advisory, recovery and resilience team. Opportunities are available at Consultant and Senior Consultant level for individuals who can help clients prepare for, respond to and recover from significant cyber security incidents. You will work with a broad range of stakeholders, supporting organisations in strengthening their ability to withstand disruption and maintain critical services.
You will contribute to incident response engagements, including assessing the impact of cyber attacks, supporting containment and recovery activities, coordinating technical and business workstreams, and helping clients return to normal operations. You will also assist with post-incident reviews, lessons-learned exercises and the development of practical recommendations to improve future resilience.
The role will involve advising on incident response plans, crisis management arrangements, disaster recovery strategies, business continuity frameworks and cyber resilience capabilities. You may facilitate workshops and simulations, develop playbooks and procedures, prepare clear reports for senior stakeholders, and support the delivery of transformation programmes designed to reduce cyber risk.
Applicants should have experience in cyber incident response, digital forensics, cyber security consulting, operational resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery or a closely related discipline. You will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the confidence to operate effectively in high-pressure situations. Experience working with senior decision-makers and translating complex technical issues into clear business advice is essential.
For the Senior Consultant position, we are looking for evidence of leading client engagements, managing workstreams, mentoring colleagues and contributing to proposals or business development. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications, such as those relating to incident handling, information security, risk, continuity or project management, are advantageous. A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to travel when required will be important, alongside a commitment to delivering high-quality, pragmatic outcomes.
