Manager, Cyber and Technology Resilience, Financial Services and Corps
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Cyber and Technology Resilience to lead the delivery of cyber resilience, technology risk and business continuity initiatives across financial services and corporate environments. This role will help organisations prepare for, respond to and recover from cyber incidents, technology failures and operational disruption, while supporting compliance with relevant regulatory and industry expectations.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, risk functions and business leaders to assess resilience capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement. Responsibilities will include developing and implementing cyber and technology resilience strategies, conducting maturity assessments, reviewing critical services and dependencies, and supporting the design and testing of incident response, disaster recovery and business continuity arrangements.
The successful candidate will manage complex projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring that recommendations are practical, proportionate and aligned with business priorities. You will lead workshops, produce clear reports and presentations, communicate risks and actions to a range of audiences, and contribute to the development of proposals and client-facing materials. You may also be responsible for coaching junior colleagues and helping to strengthen internal methodologies and best practice.
Applicants should have substantial experience in cyber resilience, technology risk, operational resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery or a related discipline, ideally within financial services or another highly regulated sector. You will have a strong understanding of cyber threats, technology services, third-party dependencies, crisis management and regulatory requirements. Experience of applying recognised frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 22301, ISO 27001 or relevant operational resilience guidance, would be advantageous.
Excellent analytical, project management and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. You should be confident managing competing priorities, working with senior decision-makers and translating technical issues into clear business implications. A relevant professional qualification or degree is desirable, as is experience leading teams or delivering consultancy engagements. The role may involve occasional travel and collaboration with colleagues and clients across multiple locations.
