Consultant, Senior Consultant, Cyber Incident Response Advisory, Recovery and Resilience
We are seeking experienced professionals to join a Cyber Incident Response Advisory, Recovery and Resilience team at Consultant and Senior Consultant level. This is an opportunity to support clients in preparing for, responding to and recovering from complex cyber incidents, while helping them strengthen their long-term resilience.
You will work with organisations across a range of sectors to assess their cyber incident response capabilities, identify vulnerabilities and develop practical strategies for managing disruption. Responsibilities may include supporting incident response engagements, conducting readiness assessments, reviewing crisis management arrangements and contributing to post-incident lessons-learned reviews. You will also help clients develop and test incident response, business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
At Senior Consultant level, you will take greater responsibility for managing workstreams, leading client discussions, coaching junior colleagues and contributing to the delivery of larger or more complex engagements. You will be expected to build trusted relationships with stakeholders, communicate technical and operational matters clearly, and provide pragmatic recommendations aligned to business priorities.
Applicants should have experience in cyber incident response, digital forensics, cyber resilience, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery or a related discipline. You should understand common attack methods, incident management processes and relevant security controls, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear business impact and actionable advice. Experience of developing or testing response plans, facilitating workshops or supporting live incidents would be advantageous.
Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills are essential, together with the confidence to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications, such as those relating to information security, incident handling, business continuity or project delivery, would be beneficial. The role may involve occasional travel and participation in out-of-hours incident response activities, depending on client requirements.
