Manager, Cyber and Technology Resilience, Financial Services and Corps
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Cyber and Technology Resilience, Financial Services and Corps, to lead the development and delivery of cyber resilience, technology risk and business continuity initiatives across a diverse portfolio. This is a high-impact role for a resilience professional who can translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into practical, sustainable improvements.
You will be responsible for assessing cyber and technology resilience capabilities, identifying vulnerabilities and defining prioritised remediation plans. Working closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, risk specialists and operational leaders, you will help ensure that critical services can withstand, respond to and recover from disruption. You will also provide constructive challenge and expert advice on resilience strategies, control frameworks and risk acceptance decisions.
Key responsibilities will include leading resilience reviews, maturity assessments and scenario-based exercises; overseeing the development and testing of business continuity, disaster recovery and crisis management plans; and supporting the analysis of cyber incidents, technology failures and third-party disruptions. You will monitor emerging threats, regulatory expectations and industry developments, ensuring that policies, standards and processes remain relevant and effective.
The role will involve managing projects and workstreams from inception through to delivery, tracking actions and reporting progress, risks and insights to governance forums and executive stakeholders. You will promote a culture of continuous improvement, helping teams embed resilience by design across systems, services, suppliers and change programmes.
Applicants should have significant experience in cyber security, technology risk, operational resilience, business continuity or a closely related discipline, ideally within financial services or another highly regulated environment. A strong understanding of resilience frameworks, control testing, incident management, cloud and third-party risk is desirable. You will be confident engaging with audiences at all levels, presenting complex information clearly and influencing effective outcomes.
We are looking for a pragmatic, analytical and collaborative professional with excellent organisational skills and sound judgement. Relevant qualifications in cyber security, information technology, risk, business continuity or project management would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a changing environment and committed to maintaining high standards of integrity, resilience and professional practice.
