Join a consulting team delivering data and cybersecurity solutions across the public sector. In this role, you will work with government departments, public bodies and regulated organisations to help them manage information securely, improve resilience and make better use of data. You will contribute to projects that address complex challenges, balancing technical delivery with strategic advice and public value.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the design and implementation of data, information governance and cybersecurity solutions; assessing risks, controls and compliance requirements; and translating technical issues into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders. You will gather and analyse requirements, contribute to bids and proposals, prepare reports and presentations, and help clients develop practical roadmaps for improving their data maturity and security posture.

You may also support activities such as cyber risk assessments, security reviews, incident response planning, data quality assessments, operating model design and the development of policies, standards and procedures. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will help ensure that solutions are proportionate, accessible and aligned with relevant public-sector standards, legislation and assurance requirements.

We are looking for candidates with experience in consulting, data, information security, technology risk or a related discipline. You should have a sound understanding of areas such as data governance, privacy, cyber risk management, identity and access management, cloud security or security frameworks. Experience of working with public-sector clients, regulated environments or large, complex organisations would be advantageous.

You will need strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills, along with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and present clear, evidence-based recommendations. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in cybersecurity, data management, privacy, risk or project delivery are welcome. Above all, you should be curious, collaborative and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes that improve services for citizens.
