Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager- Public Sector
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager to lead the development and delivery of intelligence capabilities supporting public sector security, resilience and operational decision-making. This role will provide strategic direction across the threat intelligence lifecycle, ensuring that relevant, timely and actionable insights are delivered to senior leaders, security teams and operational stakeholders. You will assess the evolving threat landscape, with particular focus on risks to government services, critical infrastructure, sensitive information and public-facing systems.
Key responsibilities will include managing the collection, analysis, validation and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence from open, commercial, technical and partner sources. You will lead the production of strategic, operational and tactical assessments, threat briefings, alerts and intelligence reports, translating complex technical findings into clear recommendations for varied audiences. The role will also oversee the development of threat actor profiles, indicators of compromise, campaign analysis, trends and threat models, while supporting incident response, vulnerability prioritisation, threat hunting and risk assessments. You will establish effective intelligence requirements, quality standards, reporting processes and performance measures, as well as build strong relationships with internal teams, government partners, law enforcement, industry bodies and trusted intelligence-sharing communities.
Applicants should have substantial experience in cyber threat intelligence, security analysis or a closely related discipline, together with proven experience leading people, programmes or specialist functions. You will demonstrate strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks, analytical methodologies, cyber attack techniques and the use of intelligence platforms, data sources and security tooling. Experience working in or supporting public sector, regulated or highly sensitive environments is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to brief senior stakeholders, manage competing priorities and make sound judgements with incomplete information. Relevant professional qualifications in cyber security, intelligence, information technology or risk management are advantageous. Eligibility for appropriate security clearance may be required.
