This role will work closely with senior client stakeholders to understand business priorities, assess cyber risk, and develop practical, risk-based strategies that strengthen resilience while supporting growth and transformation. You will operate across a varied portfolio of engagements, advising organisations on their cybersecurity posture, governance, operating models, regulatory obligations, and technology-enabled change.

Key responsibilities will include leading cyber maturity assessments, risk and control reviews, security strategy development, target operating model design, incident readiness, third-party risk, cloud security, and transformation programmes. You will shape proposals and statements of work, manage delivery against scope, budget, quality, and timelines, and provide clear, commercially focused recommendations to executive and board-level audiences. The role also involves coaching and developing consultants, contributing to thought leadership, identifying opportunities to expand client relationships, and supporting the continuous improvement of advisory methodologies and tools.

Applicants should bring significant experience in cybersecurity consulting, advisory, risk management, or a related discipline, gained within commercial, retail, consumer, financial, or similarly complex environments. Strong knowledge of recognised security frameworks, governance principles, regulatory expectations, and current cyber threats is essential, together with the ability to translate technical issues into clear business implications. You will need excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and report-writing skills, as well as proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and multiple engagements. Relevant professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent are desirable. A pragmatic, collaborative approach and the confidence to influence senior decision-makers are essential for success.
