Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst
We are seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to identify, assess and communicate cyber threats that may affect the organisation, its people, systems and wider supply chain. You will turn complex technical information into clear, actionable intelligence, helping security teams make informed decisions and strengthen resilience against emerging threats.
In this role, you will monitor open-source, dark web and commercial intelligence feeds, alongside internal security data, to identify indicators of compromise, threat actor activity, vulnerabilities and developing attack techniques. You will investigate and enrich intelligence using appropriate analytical tools and sources, assess the credibility and potential impact of findings, and produce timely reports, briefings and alerts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
You will maintain and develop threat actor, malware, vulnerability and campaign profiles, contribute to intelligence-led threat assessments, and support incident response investigations where required. The role will also involve creating and maintaining indicators of compromise, developing detection and collection requirements, and collaborating with security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, risk and engineering teams. You will help identify intelligence gaps and recommend improvements to monitoring, defensive controls and security processes.
The successful candidate will have experience in cyber threat intelligence, security analysis, incident response or a closely related discipline. You should understand common attack frameworks and methodologies, such as MITRE ATT&CK and the cyber kill chain, and be familiar with threat intelligence lifecycle principles. Experience analysing malicious infrastructure, phishing activity, malware, vulnerabilities or online threat communities would be advantageous.
Strong research, analytical and written communication skills are essential, together with the ability to distinguish meaningful intelligence from unreliable or irrelevant information. You will be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and presenting findings with confidence. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications, such as CTIA, GCTI, CISSP or equivalent practical experience, would be welcomed. A commitment to confidentiality, continuous learning and responsible handling of sensitive information is required.
