Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst
We are seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to lead the development and delivery of intelligence that strengthens organisational resilience against cyber threats. You will monitor the global threat landscape, identify emerging risks and assess their potential impact across the organisation’s people, systems, data and supply chain. Working closely with security operations, incident response, vulnerability management and wider technology teams, you will turn complex information into clear, timely and actionable insight for both technical and senior audiences.
Key responsibilities will include collecting, validating and analysing intelligence from open-source, commercial, technical and trusted community sources; tracking threat actors, campaigns, malware, vulnerabilities and relevant geopolitical developments; and producing high-quality intelligence reports, alerts, briefings and executive assessments. You will support the development of threat profiles, indicators of compromise, attack-path analysis and sector-specific assessments, while helping to improve the use of intelligence within detection, response and risk management processes. You will also contribute to incident investigations, threat hunting and post-incident reviews, ensuring lessons learned are translated into practical recommendations. The role will involve mentoring less experienced analysts, maintaining effective stakeholder relationships and helping to shape intelligence requirements, processes and standards.
Applicants should have substantial experience in cyber threat intelligence, security analysis, incident response or a closely related discipline, together with a strong understanding of the cyber kill chain, MITRE ATT&CK and common adversary tactics, techniques and procedures. You will be confident analysing technical data, including malware reports, network indicators, logs and vulnerability information, and communicating findings concisely to varied audiences. Experience with threat intelligence platforms, security information and event management tools, investigative or data-analysis techniques, and automation or scripting would be advantageous. Professional certifications in cyber security or intelligence are welcome but not essential. You should demonstrate sound judgement, curiosity, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment.
