Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst
We are seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to lead the collection, analysis, and dissemination of actionable intelligence on cyber threats affecting the organisation, its technology environment, and relevant industry sectors. You will monitor global threat activity, assess adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures, and produce clear intelligence assessments for technical and non-technical audiences. The role will involve identifying emerging risks, tracking threat actors and campaigns, and translating complex information into practical recommendations that support informed security and business decisions.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining intelligence requirements; gathering information from open, commercial, internal, and technical sources; validating and correlating data; and creating timely reports, briefings, alerts, and executive-level assessments. You will contribute to proactive threat hunting, incident response, vulnerability prioritisation, and security operations by providing context on indicators of compromise, attack methods, motivations, and likely future activity. You will also support the improvement of intelligence processes, analytical frameworks, dashboards, and knowledge repositories, while collaborating closely with security engineering, incident response, risk, fraud, and wider technology teams. Where appropriate, you may represent the intelligence function in cross-functional working groups and external information-sharing communities.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in cyber threat intelligence, security analysis, incident response, or a related discipline, with a strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape and the ability to assess intelligence critically. You should be confident using intelligence platforms, investigative tools, and relevant data sources, and familiar with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, the Cyber Kill Chain, and the intelligence cycle. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to explain technical findings clearly and tailor outputs to different audiences. Experience with scripting, data analysis, threat hunting, or geopolitical and sector-specific risk assessment would be advantageous. A relevant professional certification or degree is welcomed, alongside curiosity, sound judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
