Security, Culture, Education & Awareness Practitioner
We are seeking a Security, Culture, Education & Awareness Practitioner to help strengthen security culture and improve awareness across a diverse workforce. You will support the development and delivery of engaging security education, awareness and behavioural change initiatives, helping colleagues understand their responsibilities and make informed, secure decisions in their day-to-day work. This role is suited to someone who can translate complex security concepts into clear, practical and accessible communications for a range of audiences.
Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining security awareness content, guidance, campaigns, learning materials and communications across multiple channels. You will coordinate activities such as induction briefings, awareness events, targeted training and simulated exercises, while working with internal stakeholders to identify emerging risks, knowledge gaps and opportunities for improvement. You will also contribute to the development of a security culture framework, support policy and control implementation, and ensure educational materials remain accurate, relevant and aligned with current threats and organisational priorities.
The successful candidate will have experience in security awareness, information security, cyber security education, behavioural change, communications or a related field. You will be confident engaging with people at all levels, facilitating workshops and presenting information in an accessible and compelling way. Strong writing, editing, planning and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to measure engagement and evaluate the effectiveness of awareness programmes using meaningful metrics. An understanding of common cyber risks, social engineering, data protection and secure working practices is required. Professional certifications or relevant qualifications in cyber security, learning and development, communications or risk management are desirable. You should be proactive, creative, collaborative and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a changing environment.
