DevSecOps Engineering Practitioner
We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineering Practitioner to help embed security, automation and operational excellence throughout the software delivery lifecycle. In this role, you will work closely with development, infrastructure, platform and security teams to design, implement and improve secure, reliable and scalable delivery practices. You will contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing and monitoring solutions, ensuring that security is built into systems from the earliest stages of development.
Your responsibilities will include identifying and addressing security risks across cloud environments, applications and deployment processes; integrating security tooling into build and release pipelines; supporting vulnerability management, compliance and remediation activities; and defining practical engineering standards and reusable patterns. You will help investigate incidents, contribute to root-cause analysis and continuously improve resilience, observability and recovery capabilities. The role also involves reviewing technical designs, documenting operational procedures, mentoring colleagues and promoting a culture of shared responsibility for security.
Applicants should have professional experience in DevSecOps, platform engineering, software engineering, cyber security or a related discipline, together with a strong understanding of modern development and deployment practices. Experience with cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, version control, CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code technologies is highly desirable. You should be comfortable working with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell, and familiar with secure coding principles, identity and access management, logging, monitoring and vulnerability scanning. Strong communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to balance security, delivery speed and operational reliability. Relevant certifications or demonstrable practical experience are welcome, but a commitment to continuous learning and improving engineering outcomes is most important.
