Cybersecurity Awareness Analyst
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Awareness Analyst to help strengthen security culture and promote safe working practices across the organisation. You will develop and deliver engaging awareness initiatives that enable colleagues to recognise cyber risks, understand their responsibilities and make informed decisions when using technology and handling information.
In this role, you will plan and coordinate awareness campaigns, including phishing simulations, security briefings, newsletters, e-learning and targeted communications. You will create clear, accessible content for a range of audiences and work with internal stakeholders to ensure messaging is relevant, timely and aligned with current threats. You will also support the delivery of induction and refresher training, maintaining accurate records of participation and completion.
You will monitor the effectiveness of awareness activity by analysing engagement, training completion, phishing simulation results and other relevant measures. Using these insights, you will identify areas for improvement, prepare reports and recommend practical actions to increase understanding and reduce risky behaviour. The role will also involve supporting the review of security policies, procedures and guidance, ensuring they are communicated effectively and remain easy to follow.
The successful candidate will have experience in cybersecurity awareness, information security, learning and development, communications or a related field. You should be confident explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences and be able to produce concise, engaging written and visual materials. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.
Knowledge of common cyber threats, such as phishing, social engineering, malware, password attacks and data loss, is required. Experience with awareness platforms, learning management systems, phishing simulation tools or reporting dashboards would be advantageous. Relevant qualifications in cybersecurity, information assurance, communications or training are welcome, although practical experience and a proactive approach are equally valued.
This is an opportunity to make a measurable contribution to cyber resilience while working collaboratively with colleagues across a varied and supportive environment.
