Information Security Consultant (Salesforce) Day rate Contract

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant with strong Salesforce expertise for a day-rate contract assignment. The successful candidate will provide specialist security guidance across Salesforce platforms, helping to strengthen the confidentiality, integrity and availability of customer, operational and business data. This role will suit a hands-on security professional who can work confidently with technical teams, business stakeholders and delivery partners in a complex change environment.

Responsibilities will include assessing Salesforce environments, configurations and integrations against security policies, recognised frameworks and regulatory requirements; identifying vulnerabilities, control gaps and potential risks; and recommending practical remediation plans. You will review identity and access management, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, privileged access, data protection, encryption, logging and monitoring controls. The role will also involve supporting secure solution design, reviewing third-party integrations and APIs, contributing to threat modelling and risk assessments, and advising on security requirements throughout the development and delivery lifecycle. You may also be asked to assist with audit preparation, security documentation, incident investigations and the continuous improvement of governance processes.

Applicants should have demonstrable experience in information security consulting, with substantial practical knowledge of Salesforce security architecture and administration. Experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud or related Salesforce products is desirable, together with a sound understanding of Salesforce identity, access and data security capabilities. Familiarity with security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and applicable industry controls is expected. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential, as is the ability to explain complex security matters clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce security-focused credentials would be advantageous. Immediate or short-notice availability for a contract engagement is preferred.
