Senior Endpoint & Security Engineer, London office

We are seeking a Senior Endpoint & Security Engineer to join a high-performing technology team based in our London office. This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer who can take ownership of endpoint management, workplace security and the continuous improvement of a modern, resilient IT environment. You will help protect corporate devices, identities and data while enabling colleagues to work securely and efficiently across office, remote and hybrid settings.

Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing and administering endpoint platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager and Entra ID, alongside device compliance, patching, software deployment, encryption and vulnerability remediation. You will develop and maintain security policies, configuration baselines and endpoint detection and response capabilities, investigating alerts and coordinating appropriate responses to incidents. The role will also involve supporting identity and access controls, mobile device management, conditional access and security monitoring, as well as contributing to audits, risk assessments and wider technical projects. You will document solutions, establish operational standards and work closely with infrastructure, service desk and governance teams to resolve complex issues and improve user experience.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in endpoint engineering and information security within a Microsoft-based environment. You should be confident managing Windows and macOS devices, automating administrative tasks with PowerShell, and working with tools such as Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Entra ID and Configuration Manager. Knowledge of endpoint hardening frameworks, vulnerability management, incident response and security best practice is essential. Relevant certifications in Microsoft, security or infrastructure technologies are desirable. Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills are required, together with the ability to prioritise effectively, explain technical matters clearly and operate independently.
