We are seeking a Senior Manager, IT Risk & Control to support a leading wealth management business across Europe, based in London. This role will provide strategic oversight of technology risk, control frameworks and governance, helping ensure that technology services remain secure, resilient, compliant and aligned with business objectives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across technology, risk, compliance, audit and business functions, providing constructive challenge and practical guidance on the management of IT risk.

Key responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing the IT risk and control framework; identifying, assessing and monitoring technology, cyber, operational resilience and third-party risks; and ensuring that appropriate mitigating controls are designed, implemented and evidenced. You will oversee risk and control assessments, issue and remediation tracking, control testing, key risk indicators and management reporting. The role will also contribute to regulatory reviews, internal and external audits, technology change initiatives, incident management and resilience exercises. You will support the development of policies, standards and procedures, promote a strong control culture and provide clear reporting and recommendations to senior governance forums.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in IT risk management, technology controls, information security, audit or a related discipline, ideally within financial services or another highly regulated environment. You will bring a strong understanding of risk and control frameworks, governance principles, regulatory expectations, operational resilience and technology environments. Experience working across multiple locations or jurisdictions would be advantageous. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, together with the ability to influence senior colleagues, interpret complex issues and translate them into practical actions. Professional qualifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or relevant risk and audit credentials are desirable. A proactive, analytical and collaborative approach, with high standards of integrity and attention to detail, will be important to success in this position.
