Technical Specialist – Zero Trust & Endpoint Security

We are seeking a Technical Specialist – Zero Trust & Endpoint Security to strengthen the protection of users, devices, applications and data across a complex technology environment. In this role, you will contribute to the design, implementation and continuous improvement of Zero Trust security capabilities, ensuring access is based on verified identity, device health, contextual risk and business need. You will work closely with infrastructure, identity, networking, cloud and service delivery teams to embed secure, practical and scalable controls across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include administering and improving endpoint security platforms, device compliance policies, endpoint detection and response, vulnerability management and mobile device management solutions. You will develop and maintain security baselines, conditional access policies, application controls and least-privilege models, while supporting secure configuration of Windows, macOS and mobile endpoints. The role will also involve investigating security alerts, assisting with incident response, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating remediation activities. You will help define technical standards, contribute to security architecture reviews, produce clear documentation and support the delivery of audits, risk assessments and compliance requirements.

The successful candidate will have practical experience in endpoint security, Zero Trust principles, identity and access management, and security operations. You should be confident working with endpoint management and monitoring technologies, cloud-based security services, authentication controls and policy automation. Knowledge of vulnerability assessment, threat detection, scripting or configuration management, and relevant security frameworks will be highly valued. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate technical risks and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A proactive, collaborative approach and a commitment to continuous improvement are key to succeeding in this position.
