We are seeking a Staff Windows Low Level C++ Engineer to help build and evolve advanced endpoint security technologies. You will work at the operating-system boundary, developing reliable, high-performance components that protect devices, applications and data against sophisticated threats. This role is suited to an engineer who combines deep Windows internals knowledge with strong systems programming skills and a passion for solving complex security challenges.

Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing and maintaining security-focused Windows components in modern C++, including user-mode and kernel-mode functionality. You will investigate operating-system behaviour, process and memory activity, drivers, services, system calls, access controls and other low-level mechanisms to identify risks and develop effective protections. You will contribute to technical architecture, perform detailed code reviews, diagnose difficult production and performance issues, and improve the reliability, scalability and observability of endpoint agents. You will also collaborate with security researchers, detection engineers, product teams and quality engineers to turn emerging threats into robust prevention and detection capabilities. As a senior technical contributor, you will help establish engineering standards, mentor colleagues and influence long-term platform strategy.

You should have substantial professional experience developing low-level software for Microsoft Windows using C and C++, with a strong understanding of Windows internals, including processes, threads, handles, synchronization, memory management, the registry, services and security architecture. Experience with Windows drivers, kernel debugging, minifilters, ETW, code signing, reverse engineering or endpoint protection products is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of systems design, concurrency, performance analysis, debugging tools and secure coding practices is essential. Familiarity with threat models, malware behaviours, vulnerability research or defensive security engineering would be advantageous. You will be expected to communicate clearly, operate effectively in a collaborative environment and take ownership of technically complex work from design through delivery.
