Senior Threat Intelligence Consultant
We are seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Consultant to provide expert analysis, strategic advice, and actionable insights that help organisations understand and manage the evolving cyber threat landscape. In this role, you will work with senior stakeholders, security teams, and technical specialists to assess threats, identify risks, and translate complex intelligence into clear recommendations. You will contribute to the development of intelligence-led security strategies, ensuring that findings support informed decision-making and strengthen organisational resilience.
Key responsibilities will include leading cyber threat intelligence engagements, conducting strategic, operational, and tactical analysis, and producing high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences. You will research threat actors, campaigns, vulnerabilities, and geopolitical developments, assess their relevance and potential impact, and develop intelligence requirements tailored to client needs. You will also support the design and maturity assessment of threat intelligence programmes, including collection plans, intelligence processes, reporting frameworks, and performance measures. The role may involve developing threat profiles, attack-path assessments, early-warning indicators, and incident-focused intelligence products, as well as mentoring less experienced analysts.
Applicants should have substantial experience in cyber threat intelligence, security consulting, incident response, threat hunting, or a closely related discipline. You will need a strong understanding of the intelligence lifecycle, analytical methodologies, common attack techniques, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK. Experience investigating threat actors, analysing open-source and technical intelligence, and using relevant intelligence platforms or security tooling is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, together with the ability to manage multiple priorities, challenge assumptions constructively, and communicate risk with confidence. Professional security or intelligence certifications are welcomed but not essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgement, curiosity, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to solving complex security problems.
