Executive Principal Consultant - Red Team
We are seeking an Executive Principal Consultant – Red Team to lead sophisticated adversarial security engagements for clients operating in complex and high-risk environments. You will provide strategic direction across red team operations, penetration testing, purple teaming, threat emulation and physical security assessments, helping organisations identify and address weaknesses before they are exploited. This is a senior leadership role requiring exceptional technical judgement, strong communication skills and the ability to operate confidently with executive stakeholders, security leaders and technical teams.
You will define engagement objectives, develop realistic attack scenarios and oversee end-to-end delivery, from scoping and rules of engagement through to reporting, remediation support and lessons learned. Responsibilities will include leading multidisciplinary teams, reviewing technical methodologies, ensuring safe and ethical execution, and maintaining a high standard of evidence-based reporting. You will translate complex findings into clear business risk and prioritised recommendations, present outcomes to senior decision-makers, and contribute to the continual improvement of testing capabilities, tooling and operating procedures. The role may also involve supporting business development, shaping propositions, mentoring consultants and representing the practice at industry events or client forums.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience delivering advanced red team, penetration testing or threat-led security assessments, with a strong understanding of current attacker techniques, defensive controls and enterprise architectures. Relevant experience across cloud, identity, applications, networks, endpoints, wireless systems, social engineering or physical intrusion is highly valued. You should be capable of designing bespoke attack paths, managing sensitive engagements and making sound decisions under pressure. Professional security certifications or equivalent demonstrable expertise are desirable. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, commercial awareness, strong stakeholder management abilities and a commitment to responsible, lawful and professional conduct. This position offers the opportunity to influence security strategy, develop high-performing specialists and deliver meaningful improvements in clients’ resilience against real-world threats.
