Senior InfoSec Analyst Vulnerability Management
We are seeking a Senior InfoSec Analyst, Vulnerability Management to lead the identification, assessment and remediation of security vulnerabilities across a complex technology environment. This role will be responsible for strengthening vulnerability management practices, improving risk visibility and helping protect critical systems, applications, infrastructure and data. You will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, application development, engineering and compliance teams to ensure vulnerabilities are identified promptly, prioritised appropriately and resolved within agreed risk tolerances.
Key responsibilities include managing vulnerability scanning and assessment activities, reviewing results from automated tools and validating findings through manual analysis. You will assess vulnerabilities based on exploitability, business impact, asset criticality and threat intelligence, then provide clear recommendations and remediation guidance to technical teams. The role will involve tracking remediation activity, escalating overdue or high-risk issues, producing meaningful dashboards and reports, and supporting risk acceptance processes where remediation cannot be completed within required timescales. You will also contribute to vulnerability management standards, operating procedures, metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in information security, vulnerability management or a related technical discipline, with a strong understanding of vulnerability assessment methodologies, CVSS, common attack techniques and security controls. Experience with vulnerability scanning platforms, ticketing or governance tools, cloud environments, operating systems, networks and web applications is highly desirable. You should be confident interpreting technical findings, communicating risk to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and influencing teams to deliver effective remediation. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in cybersecurity, infrastructure or risk management would be advantageous. Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a changing environment.
