The role will involve working closely with infrastructure, application development, cloud, operations and risk teams to improve the organisation’s overall security posture.

Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining vulnerability scanning and management tools; coordinating authenticated and unauthenticated scans; validating findings and reducing false positives; analysing vulnerability data and emerging threats; and producing clear dashboards, reports and management information. Applicants should have experience in vulnerability management, cyber security operations, security assurance or a closely related discipline, with a sound understanding of common vulnerabilities, risk-rating methodologies and remediation techniques. Familiarity with vulnerability scanning platforms, CVE and CVSS concepts, patch management, operating systems, networks, databases, cloud services and web applications is desirable. Experience using reporting or ticketing tools and working with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS or ISO 27001 would be advantageous.
