We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Architect to design, develop and maintain secure technology solutions across a complex, evolving environment. The successful candidate will define security architecture principles, standards and patterns, ensuring that cybersecurity is embedded throughout the design, delivery and operation of applications, infrastructure, cloud services and digital platforms. You will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, software development, risk and governance teams to translate business and technical requirements into practical, resilient security controls.

Responsibilities will include conducting security architecture reviews, threat modelling and risk assessments; identifying vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate mitigations; contributing to security policies, technical standards and reference architectures; and supporting the secure adoption of cloud, identity, network, data and emerging technologies. You will provide expert guidance during project planning and solution design, assess deviations from security requirements, and help ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, privacy and industry standards. The role will also involve contributing to incident preparedness, improving security monitoring and collaborating with security operations teams to address architectural risks and recurring weaknesses.

You will bring significant experience in cybersecurity architecture, information security engineering or a related discipline, along with a strong understanding of enterprise security principles and modern technology environments. Experience with cloud security, zero-trust architecture, identity and access management, network security, application security, data protection and secure software development practices is required. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential, as is the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Relevant professional certifications, such as CISSP, SABSA, CCSP, CISM or equivalent, would be advantageous. A proactive, collaborative approach and a commitment to continuous improvement are also important for success in this role.
