You will play a key role in protecting systems, data and users by developing effective access controls, strengthening identity governance and ensuring that security practices align with business and regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities will include leading the analysis and resolution of complex IAM and cyber security issues; designing and implementing role-based access control, privileged access management, authentication and authorisation solutions; and establishing robust processes for joiner, mover and leaver activities, access reviews and segregation of duties. You will monitor identity-related threats, investigate incidents, identify control weaknesses and recommend practical improvements. The role will also involve contributing to security architecture and technology roadmaps, supporting audits and risk assessments, producing clear technical documentation, and mentoring analysts and other stakeholders. You will work closely with infrastructure, application, risk and governance teams to ensure IAM controls are consistently applied across cloud and on-premises environments.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in cyber security, with a strong focus on IAM, identity governance or access management within a complex enterprise environment. You will have a sound understanding of security principles, access control models, privileged identity management, single sign-on, multifactor authentication and directory services such as Active Directory or equivalent cloud platforms. Experience with IAM tooling, security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management and relevant security frameworks will be highly valued. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential, together with the ability to influence decisions, manage competing priorities and explain technical risks to non-technical audiences. Professional security or identity certifications, or demonstrable equivalent experience, would be advantageous.
