Senior Security Researcher
We are seeking a Senior Security Researcher to lead the investigation of emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities and attack techniques. You will play a key role in strengthening defensive capabilities by turning complex technical findings into practical intelligence, tooling and recommendations. This is an opportunity to influence security strategy while working on challenging problems across a broad and evolving threat landscape.
Your responsibilities will include researching vulnerabilities in operating systems, applications, cloud environments and connected technologies; analysing malware, exploits and adversary behaviour; and developing proof-of-concept code in controlled environments. You will conduct technical investigations, contribute to threat modelling and identify opportunities to improve detection, prevention and incident response. You will also support the creation of internal tools, automation and repeatable research methodologies.
You will collaborate with security engineering, incident response, intelligence and product teams to communicate findings clearly and effectively. The role will involve producing high-quality technical reports, presenting research to both specialist and non-specialist audiences, and contributing to industry publications, conferences or responsible disclosure activity where appropriate. You may also provide technical guidance to less experienced researchers and help shape research priorities.
Applicants should have substantial experience in cyber security research, vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering or a closely related discipline. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C, C++, Go or Rust are expected, together with practical knowledge of operating systems, networks, web technologies and common security tools. Experience with debugging, binary analysis, malware research, exploit development or cloud security would be highly valued.
We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, methodical and comfortable working independently on ambiguous problems. You should be able to assess risk, challenge assumptions and explain technical issues with clarity. A demonstrable record of high-quality research, published work, conference presentations, open-source contributions or relevant professional certifications would be advantageous.
This role offers the chance to work on meaningful security challenges, develop innovative approaches and contribute to a collaborative environment that values technical excellence, responsible research and continuous learning.
