We are seeking a Senior Cyber Vulnerability Researcher to identify, analyse, and help mitigate security weaknesses across applications, infrastructure, operating systems, networks, and emerging technologies. You will lead vulnerability research activities from initial discovery through technical validation, risk assessment, responsible disclosure, and remediation support. The role requires strong analytical ability, sound judgement, and the confidence to communicate complex security findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include conducting proactive vulnerability research, reviewing source code and software behaviour, developing proof-of-concept exploits, and reproducing reported weaknesses in controlled environments. You will perform threat modelling and exploitability analysis, assess the potential business impact of vulnerabilities, and produce clear, evidence-based technical reports. You will also contribute to vulnerability management processes by prioritising findings, advising engineering and operations teams on effective remediation, and validating corrective actions. The successful candidate will monitor relevant threat intelligence, security advisories, research publications, and attack trends to identify emerging risks. You may also support incident investigations, penetration testing, security reviews, and the development of internal research methods, tooling, and automation.

Applicants should have substantial experience in vulnerability research, application or infrastructure security, penetration testing, reverse engineering, or a closely related discipline. Strong knowledge of common vulnerability classes, secure development principles, operating systems, networking, authentication mechanisms, and cloud technologies is expected. Experience with debugging and analysis tools, scripting or programming languages such as Python, C, C++, JavaScript, or Go, and frameworks used to assess and exploit vulnerabilities is highly desirable. Relevant professional certifications or equivalent practical expertise are welcome. You should be able to work independently, manage several investigations simultaneously, maintain rigorous technical documentation, and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. A responsible, curious, and methodical approach to security research is essential.
