Reference: 8qodq3okmc9f0pinjxsh

We are seeking a Senior Security Researcher to lead advanced vulnerability research and develop practical mitigations for complex software and hardware systems. This role will suit an experienced security professional who enjoys investigating emerging threats, uncovering previously unknown weaknesses and translating technical findings into robust, implementable security improvements.

You will conduct vulnerability research across areas such as operating systems, applications, embedded platforms, cloud environments, networks and hardware-assisted security. Your responsibilities will include threat modelling, vulnerability discovery, exploitability assessment, proof-of-concept development and root-cause analysis. You will also design and validate mitigations, assess their effectiveness and help define security requirements for future products and services.

The role involves working closely with software engineers, architects, incident responders and other security specialists. You will communicate complex technical issues clearly through written reports, briefings and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences. You may also contribute to coordinated vulnerability disclosure, security testing methodologies, internal research projects, conference submissions and the development of tools that improve defensive capabilities.

Applicants should have substantial experience in vulnerability research, offensive security, reverse engineering or a closely related discipline. Strong knowledge of memory safety, operating-system internals, binary analysis, debugging and common exploitation techniques is highly desirable. Experience with languages such as C, C++, Rust, Python or assembly, together with practical expertise using debuggers, disassemblers, fuzzers and bespoke research tooling, would be advantageous.

You will be expected to demonstrate rigorous analytical thinking, creativity and sound technical judgement, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams. A methodical approach to documenting research, a commitment to responsible disclosure and a genuine interest in evolving security threats are essential. Relevant professional experience, research publications, recognised security contributions or equivalent practical expertise will be valued.
