We are seeking a Security Risk Consultant to support the assessment, management and reduction of security risks across complex client environments within the Health and Public Services sector. This role will involve working with stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify vulnerabilities and develop practical, proportionate security solutions that protect people, information, systems and critical services.

You will conduct security risk assessments, threat and vulnerability analyses, control reviews and compliance evaluations, translating findings into clear reports and actionable recommendations. Responsibilities will include developing risk treatment plans, supporting security governance and assurance activities, reviewing policies and procedures, and advising on physical, personnel, information and cyber security considerations. The successful candidate will have experience in security risk management, security consulting, assurance or a closely related discipline, ideally within regulated, government, healthcare or other complex service environments. You should be confident engaging with senior stakeholders and operational teams, facilitating workshops, challenging assumptions constructively and presenting technical or security issues in clear business language. Knowledge of recognised security and risk management frameworks, relevant legislation, governance practices and assurance methodologies is desirable. Strong analytical, report-writing and problem-solving skills are essential, together with the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
