We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Manager to lead identity and access management activities across the UK and Ireland. This role will be responsible for strengthening the organisation’s identity security capabilities, protecting critical systems and data, and ensuring that access is granted appropriately, monitored effectively, and removed promptly when no longer required. You will provide strategic direction while remaining close to operational delivery, working with technology, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to embed secure and practical solutions.

Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining the identity and access management strategy, overseeing privileged access, authentication, authorisation, role-based access controls, and joiner, mover, and leaver processes. You will manage the implementation and continuous improvement of identity security technologies, including directory services, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, identity governance, and privileged access management. The role will also involve defining policies and standards, monitoring control effectiveness, supporting audits, managing security risks, and contributing to incident response and investigations involving account compromise or inappropriate access.

You will lead and develop a team of security specialists and coordinate delivery with internal technology teams and external partners. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in cyber security, with a strong focus on identity and access management, alongside experience managing people, suppliers, programmes, and operational priorities. You should understand recognised security frameworks and regulatory expectations relevant to data protection and access control, and be confident translating technical risks into clear business decisions. Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. Relevant professional certifications in cyber security, identity management, audit, or risk are desirable.
