Senior Consultant, Cybersecurity, Identity TC, UKI
We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join a growing cybersecurity identity practice supporting clients across the UK and Ireland. In this role, you will help organisations strengthen their identity and access management capabilities, protect critical systems and data, and respond to the evolving threat landscape. You will work closely with client stakeholders, technical teams and security leadership to understand business needs, define practical solutions and deliver measurable improvements.
Your responsibilities will include leading and contributing to identity and cybersecurity engagements, from initial discovery and assessment through to solution design, implementation and continuous improvement. You will advise on identity governance and administration, privileged access management, access controls, authentication, authorisation and broader zero-trust principles. You will produce high-quality technical and client-facing documentation, including strategies, roadmaps, requirements, process designs, risk assessments and recommendations. You may also support delivery planning, mentor junior colleagues, contribute to proposals and help develop repeatable methods, tools and best practices. The role involves managing stakeholder relationships, facilitating workshops and presenting complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in cybersecurity consulting, identity and access management, or a closely related discipline, together with a strong understanding of security principles, governance and risk. Experience with identity platforms, directory services, privileged access solutions, cloud security or access certification technologies is highly desirable. You should be confident working across multiple projects, balancing client priorities and delivering outcomes to a high standard. Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP or identity-focused certifications would be advantageous. A collaborative mindset, commercial awareness and willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and Ireland are also expected.
