Manager, Cybersecurity, Privacy, TC, UKI
We are seeking a Manager, Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Technology Compliance to lead security and privacy initiatives across the UK and Ireland. This role will help strengthen the organisation’s cyber resilience, protect sensitive information, and support responsible use of technology across business operations. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, legal and compliance specialists, and external partners to identify risks, define practical controls, and ensure that regulatory and internal requirements are consistently met.
Key responsibilities will include managing the regional cybersecurity and privacy programme; maintaining risk assessments, policies, standards, and control frameworks; coordinating responses to security incidents, data breaches, and audit findings; and overseeing remediation plans through to completion. You will support privacy impact assessments, third-party risk reviews, access governance, vulnerability management, security awareness, and business continuity activities. The role will also contribute to regulatory readiness and assurance across applicable data protection, cybersecurity, technology, and operational resilience requirements. You will prepare clear reports and recommendations for leadership, track key risk indicators, and promote a culture of security and privacy by design.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in cybersecurity, information security, privacy, technology risk, or compliance, ideally within a regulated or complex international environment. A strong understanding of UK and European data protection and cybersecurity expectations is required, together with experience managing risk assessments, audits, incidents, and cross-functional programmes. Relevant professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP/E, CIPM, CRISC, or equivalent experience would be advantageous. You should be an effective communicator who can translate technical and regulatory issues into practical business actions, influence stakeholders at all levels, manage competing priorities, and operate with sound judgement, integrity, and attention to detail.
