Senior Consultant, Cybersecurity, Identity TC, UKI
We are seeking a Senior Consultant specialising in Cybersecurity and Identity to support clients across the UK and Ireland. In this role, you will provide strategic and technical guidance to help organisations strengthen their identity security, manage cyber risk and improve resilience. You will work closely with client stakeholders, security leaders and delivery teams to understand business requirements, assess current capabilities and design practical solutions aligned with industry standards and regulatory expectations.
Your responsibilities will include leading identity and access management assessments, developing cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps, and supporting the design and implementation of controls across areas such as privileged access, authentication, authorisation, identity governance, access reviews and joiner-mover-leaver processes. You will contribute to client engagements from initial discovery through to delivery, producing high-quality reports, presentations, technical documentation and recommendations. You may also support security transformation programmes, risk assessments, operating model design, policy development and the adoption of cloud-based identity services. The role will involve managing workstreams, mentoring junior colleagues and presenting findings and proposals to both technical and senior business audiences.
The successful candidate will have substantial consulting or professional services experience within cybersecurity, with strong expertise in identity and access management. You should be confident working with concepts and technologies such as Active Directory, Entra ID, privileged access management, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, identity governance and cloud security. Experience with recognised frameworks, including NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls or equivalent, would be advantageous. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential, together with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business outcomes. Relevant industry certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP or identity-focused qualifications, are desirable. A willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and Ireland, when required, is expected.
