Networking and Security Technical Services Lead

We are seeking an experienced Networking and Security Technical Services Lead to provide technical leadership across enterprise network infrastructure, cybersecurity services and operational support. In this role, you will oversee the design, implementation, performance and continual improvement of secure, resilient networking environments. You will lead the delivery of technical services across data centres, cloud platforms, wide area networks, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, remote access and associated security technologies.

Key responsibilities will include managing and mentoring technical teams, setting operational standards and ensuring reliable delivery against service levels. You will develop and maintain network and security architecture, technical roadmaps, policies and procedures, while ensuring solutions align with business needs, regulatory obligations and industry best practice. The role will involve leading complex incident resolution, problem management, vulnerability remediation, change implementation and disaster recovery planning. You will also work closely with infrastructure, applications, suppliers and service partners, providing expert advice on risk, resilience, capacity, performance and emerging technologies. A strong focus on monitoring, automation, documentation and continual service improvement will be essential.

Applicants should have substantial experience in senior network and security engineering or technical service leadership roles, with a proven record of managing complex enterprise environments. You will bring strong knowledge of routing and switching, network segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, identity and access controls, cloud networking, intrusion prevention and security monitoring. Experience with relevant frameworks, secure design principles, IT service management and risk management is highly desirable. Professional certifications in networking, cybersecurity, cloud or service management would be advantageous. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and decision-making skills are required, together with the ability to translate technical issues into clear business outcomes. You must be comfortable leading through change, balancing strategic planning with hands-on technical oversight, and maintaining a strong customer and service-focused approach.
