Information Security Analyst

We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to help protect critical systems, data and services from evolving cyber threats. You will support the operation and continuous improvement of security controls, investigate potential incidents and provide practical advice to colleagues across the organisation. This role is suited to an analytical and detail-oriented professional who can communicate technical risks clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key responsibilities include monitoring security alerts, reviewing logs and investigating suspicious activity; assisting with incident response, evidence gathering and post-incident reporting; conducting vulnerability assessments and supporting remediation activities; maintaining security policies, procedures and risk registers; and contributing to access reviews, security testing and audit preparation. You will also help deliver security awareness initiatives, track emerging threats and recommend improvements to reduce operational and information security risks. Accurate documentation and timely escalation will be essential in this role.

Applicants should have experience in information security, cybersecurity, IT risk or a related discipline, together with a solid understanding of security principles, threat detection, vulnerability management and incident handling. Familiarity with SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, identity and access management, network security controls and common security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST is desirable. Relevant qualifications or certifications, such as Security+, CySA+, SSCP or equivalent experience, would be advantageous. You should demonstrate sound judgement, strong investigative skills and the ability to prioritise work in a changing environment. A commitment to confidentiality, continuous learning and professional integrity is essential.
