We are seeking a Security and Development Test Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of security-focused testing across software, systems and technology services. You will be responsible for establishing effective test strategies that identify vulnerabilities, validate security controls and support the delivery of reliable, resilient products. Working closely with development, engineering, architecture, risk and operational teams, you will ensure that security testing is integrated throughout the development lifecycle rather than conducted only before release.

Your responsibilities will include defining test plans, schedules, standards and acceptance criteria; overseeing functional, non-functional, penetration, vulnerability, integration and regression testing; and ensuring that findings are accurately documented, prioritised and resolved. You will manage internal and external test resources, monitor progress and quality, and provide clear reporting to technical and senior stakeholders. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes, tooling, automation and metrics, while helping maintain alignment with relevant security frameworks, regulatory expectations and organisational risk requirements.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience managing security and software testing activities within complex technology or development environments. You will understand secure development practices, threat modelling, vulnerability management, test automation and common application and infrastructure security risks. Experience working with Agile or hybrid delivery methods, CI/CD pipelines and tools used for defect, test and security management is highly desirable. Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills are essential, along with the ability to translate technical findings into practical business actions. Relevant qualifications in cybersecurity, software testing, development or project management, such as ISTQB, CISSP, CISM or equivalent experience, would be advantageous. You should be analytical, organised and confident challenging assumptions while building collaborative relationships across diverse teams.
