We are seeking an experienced Cyber Technology Risk and Controls Manager to strengthen the management of technology and cyber risk across a complex, highly regulated environment. This role will provide independent challenge, practical guidance and oversight of the control framework, helping to ensure that technology services, systems and processes remain secure, resilient and aligned with internal standards and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities will include assessing cyber and technology risks, maintaining risk and control registers, and monitoring the design and operating effectiveness of key controls. You will support control testing, issue identification, remediation tracking and management reporting, while providing clear insight into risk exposure and emerging threats. The role will also involve reviewing security and technology changes, supporting audits and regulatory reviews, and partnering with engineering, operations, infrastructure, architecture and business teams to embed effective risk management practices. You will contribute to the development of policies, standards, procedures and risk appetite measures, ensuring that control requirements are understood and consistently applied.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in cyber risk, technology risk, IT controls, information security or a closely related discipline. You will bring a strong understanding of control frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, audit principles and regulatory requirements, together with experience in areas such as vulnerability management, identity and access management, cloud security, incident management, third-party risk or operational resilience. Relevant professional qualifications in information security, technology risk, audit or risk management are desirable. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential, as is the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, commercially focused recommendations. You will be organised, pragmatic and comfortable influencing senior stakeholders while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
