The InfoSec Development Programme is an opportunity to begin or advance your career in information security while gaining practical experience across a broad range of cyber security disciplines. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects and develop the technical, analytical and communication skills required to support secure and resilient business operations.

During the programme, your responsibilities may include monitoring and investigating security alerts, assisting with vulnerability assessments, supporting risk and control reviews, maintaining security documentation and contributing to incident response activities. You may also help improve security awareness, assess new technologies, review access controls and support the implementation of policies, standards and procedures. The role will involve collaborating with colleagues across technology and business teams, documenting findings clearly and presenting recommendations where appropriate.

We are looking for candidates with a genuine interest in cyber security and a willingness to learn. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, good attention to detail and the confidence to ask questions and take ownership of tasks. An understanding of core information security concepts, such as confidentiality, integrity, availability, identity and access management, risk, networks or common cyber threats, would be beneficial.

Relevant study or experience in cyber security, information technology, computer science, engineering or a related subject is welcome, although equivalent practical experience will also be considered. Familiarity with tools such as spreadsheets, ticketing platforms, security monitoring solutions or scripting languages would be advantageous. Professional certifications, laboratory projects or evidence of self-directed learning are also valued.

You will need to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, manage competing priorities and handle sensitive information with discretion. In return, you will receive structured development, mentoring and exposure to a variety of security activities, helping you build a strong foundation for a long-term career in information security.
