We are seeking an experienced Program Manager, Security Risk Program to lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of security risk initiatives across a complex business environment. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional programs that strengthen risk identification, assessment, treatment, monitoring, and reporting. You will work closely with information security, technology, compliance, legal, internal audit, and business stakeholders to ensure security risks are understood, prioritised, and managed in line with organisational objectives and applicable regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities will include establishing program plans, governance structures, delivery milestones, reporting routines, and success measures for security risk initiatives. You will maintain risk registers and action plans, track remediation commitments, identify dependencies and emerging issues, and provide clear updates to senior stakeholders. You will facilitate risk assessments, control reviews, third-party risk activities, policy and standards implementation, and audit or regulatory response initiatives. The role will also involve preparing executive-ready reports, developing presentations and communication materials, and translating complex technical or risk information into practical business insights. You will promote consistent processes, encourage accountability, and help embed a culture of proactive security risk management.

The successful candidate will bring significant experience managing security, technology, cyber risk, governance, compliance, or enterprise risk programs in a large or regulated environment. You will have strong knowledge of security risk principles, control frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and program governance practices. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to influence without direct authority and manage multiple priorities in a changing environment. Experience with recognised frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, or similar is desirable. Relevant qualifications in cybersecurity, information systems, risk management, project management, or a related discipline will be advantageous.
