We are seeking a Principal Consultant / Associate – OT Cyber Security to provide expert advice and practical support across operational technology (OT), industrial control systems (ICS) and critical infrastructure environments. This role will involve helping clients understand and manage cyber risk across the full OT lifecycle, from assessment and strategy through to implementation and continuous improvement. You will work with senior stakeholders, engineering teams, IT and security functions to develop pragmatic solutions that protect safety, reliability and business continuity.

Key responsibilities will include leading OT cyber security assessments, maturity reviews, risk analyses and gap assessments; developing and implementing OT security strategies, policies, standards and roadmaps; and advising on network architecture, segmentation, secure remote access, asset management, vulnerability management, incident response and monitoring. Applicants should have substantial experience in OT or ICS cyber security, ideally gained within sectors such as energy, utilities, manufacturing, transport, pharmaceuticals or other safety-critical environments. A strong understanding of industrial protocols, control systems, OT network architecture, secure-by-design principles and relevant standards and frameworks is essential. Experience with recognised guidance such as IEC 62443, NIST, NIS2, ISO 27001 or the NCSC principles would be advantageous. You will need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, commercial awareness and the ability to translate complex technical risks into clear business recommendations. Relevant professional certifications, such as GICSP, CISSP, CISM or IEC 62443 qualifications, are desirable. We are looking for a collaborative, confident and delivery-focused professional who can operate effectively at both strategic and technical levels.
